An Australian colonial politician, he was the 6th Premier of Victoria, He died 22 Feb 1884 aged 68 and Harriet died in 1887. Charles Sladen, a 27 year old lawyer, in Sep 1842 read a printed sermon when the first Anglican congregation assembeled in Geelongs first courthouse, opened in 1842. |
