Hi Eliza, What a fantastic site. Lots of work has gone into this.
Thanks so much for what you have done it is greatly appreciated.
I am emailing in reference to - “James Noonan, died suddenly on his way into town to seek medical advice, verdict of Inquest Died by 'visitation of God' left widow pregnant and with four children. Source - Melbourne Weekly Courier 27 Jan 1844”
James’ wife Anne Molloy was my Gt Gt Grandmother’s. I am descended from her second marriage. I had a look at the Source article and have attached a copy for your reference. There were 3 inquests that day. The “died suddenly on his way into town to seek medical advice” refers to the first person Martha Dartnell.
I did not know these early papers were available on the internet. Thanks to you I have now discovered it.
Thanks so much, Regards, Verion Stroud, Melbourne
Thankyou - I have now added the correct story for James.
