(see "Henry Dendy and His Emigrants" by L A Schumer, Sallas books, 1975) They lived in Brighton near the present St Andrew's Church. Thomas failed to return from working at St Kilda and was later found dead beneath a gum tree on his way home. A Coroner's Inquest was held and it was decided he died from natural causes.
