John Brewer List No 12, 31 Dec 1844 Unclaimed letters at Melbourne Post Office
John Brewer Letter at Post-office unclaimed 7 April 1847

From on Sunday, 23 October, 2011
Here are further details for the children (with comments in brackets):
1. Henry Brewer c1836 - 4 Jun 1897.
2. Thirza Brewer 1840 - 29 Jun 1909, married Boaz Roberts 1862
3. Thomas Brewer - died in infancy
4. (not sure if the John Brewer d 1842 you have is from this family, but it is quite plausible)
5. Elizabeth Brewer 12 Oct 1843 - 1906, married William Porter 1872
6. John Brewer 17 Nov 1845 - 1904, married Margaret Gordon 1871
7. Isabella Brewer c1847 - 1915, married William George Leary 1868 (no birth certificate/baptism record that I know of)
8. Mary Ann Brewer 18 May 1850 - 28 Aug 1929 married John Roberts 1872 (again no birth certificate/baptism record that I know of; the Mary Hannah 1851 that you list is the daughter of John Brewer and (Sarah) Ann Bray, married Thomas Henderson in 1874, and is C of E, rather than non-conformist)
9. Robert Brewer c1851 - 30 Sep 1916, married Janet Allen Jack 1877 (again no birth certificate/baptism record)
10. Emily/Amelia Brewer 1855 - 1927, married William Ferguson 1879
11. Ebenezer Brewer 1858 - 30 May 1923, married Elizabeth Brown 1880
12. Sarah Jane Brewer 1860 - 1917, married Walter Terry 1880
13. Martha Annie Brewer 17 Jul 1863 - ?, married Alexander Marquis 1887 (she was still alive in 1897, not sure where she ended up)
Although Isabella, Mary Ann, and Robert are not listed in the births registry, there is other evidence that connects them with the family. My sources are the death indexes, the list of siblings on Martha Annie's birth certificate, and the list of children on their mother Ann's death certificate.
Thankyou for your help - I have corrected the notes above.
