first in coastal shipping as a brig, 248 tons, Bradbury master, Henty and Co Agents,
arrived 18 Oct 1841 at Launceston from Portland Bay with passengers John Jones, Michael Wilson, Charles Hayes, William Rice, Richard Thompson, Charles Wells, John Thomas, H Wales, William Walker, A McDowell, William Wright, Peter Donaldson, John Jackson, A Powell, R Newton, J Sharp. Cargo includes 4 tons Whalebone, 74 tuns black oil, 13 casks bottled beer
Notice in Launceston Courier for 1 Nov, - the Hamilton plans to leave for London on 30 Nov 1841, will take mail. And then delayed to about 30 Dec. Departed 1 Jan 1842 from Launceston for London with passengers Douglas D Hunter Esq, and Rowland Wood, now described as a barque.

Harriett

brig Kreeft master Comment Column 2 Page 2, Geelong Advertiser 6 Dec 1841 - she is the first vessel to arrive direct from Van Dieman's Land to Melbourne and deliver her papers and pay the wharfage dues, not stopping at Williamstown on the way in.

Jupiter

arrived 5 May 1841, barque 240 tons, Hicks master, from London 4 Dec and Cape of Good Hope 26 Feb to Melbourne, Passenger Mr Gales. Extensive list of imports, including flour, orders being filled.
Reports by the Jupiter - was at table Bay when the Howard laden with coffee, was lost, all but one of the crew was saved. Westward of Cape Hope the Jupiter sprung her mizen mast. On 24 Dec, in latitude 26'3"N, Captain Wilcox died - he had been ill most of the voyage.

The Jupiter, barque, 225 tons Hicks master, arrived 12 July 1841 at Launceston from Port Phillip with passengers Mr Benjamin Lee, Mr Hicks, Mr Neale and cargo 54 head of cattle

I have not been able to find when the Jupiter left Launceston - newspaper till Nov scanned.
Arrived from Wellington on 11 May and reached Sydney 24 May 1842, in ballast with 3 steerage passengers. The Sydney Gazette and New South Wales Advertiser, Saturday 6 August 1842 reports she is 'in the Cove' at Harbour
