Advertisement The Sydney Gazette and... Thursday 7 January 1840, For Melbourne direct. The fast-sailing new brig, the Christiana, Thomas Birkingshaw master. From her light draft of water, Passengers and Goods will be landed on the Wharf at Melbourne, saving the expense ... of discharging at Williams town.
In Feb 1841 the weekly Report of Vessels in Harbour has a separate list 'Vessels at the Queen's Wharf' which appear to all be under 150 ton.
